A short stopover in Sydney!

We met Kam's sister, Karen in Sydney for a few days before going to New Zealand.

Kam and Karen look pretty posing from the ferry on the way to the zoo in Sydney.

Here's what everyone goes to see, the Sydney Opera House. We went to see Dionne Warwick in concert and drank a bottle of champagne on the sidewalk the next night. We're nothing but high class.

Don't forget a quick shot of the Sydney bridge. We didn't do it, but many people pay $150 US to climb the bridge. We didn't like the outfits they make you wear.

A nice background of the city before we head out.

After a long search, we found Hunter Valley. You may not be able to see it clearly here, but Kam and Karen started their drinking here with this big bottle.

Who could go to Hunter Valley without visiting Lindeman's?

Ah, they got tired of waiting for the bottle to be uncorked and went right for the vines themselves. Good thing the grape police didn't see them!

Finished with Hunter Valley, we drove straight on to the Blue Mountains. First stop, Katoomba and the home of the famous three sisters (as you see here). The locals shine lights on the gals all night. We visited them a few times.

Interestingly, the steepest train in the world is in Katoomba. Of course, we couldn't help but take it - the angle might have been 70 degrees. We couldn't quite see straight while hanging on for dear life!.

Quite near Katoomba (well, a few hours of harrowing drive), we visited the Jenolan Caves. An outstanding cave system, you actually drive through one of the caves to get to the visitor's center. We spent about 3 hours hiking around the caves. There were a lot of steps!

One more for good luck!
